Zucchini Pomodoro Penne Bake
Can anyone identify the top pic??
Looks just like my kind of food , right??
@RosaCanDo I always talk about salmon, capers, cream cheese and the packaged bread being what I have for drop ins. Actually I have an addition to that as of last summer. Frozen Tamales… cheese/chicken, beef, pork, whatever, microwaved in a wet paper towel, presto, in a few minutes Hot Tamales! Can also cook rice in the time it takes to get it all together to go w them.
Speaking of tamales, @Juli1 your best bet is looking for a Mexican restaurant when/if you are in a metropolitan area. The masa that you need to make the tamales might be hard to find. You could make the filling and use another type wrap.
Many nationalities have their own “wraps” for their food, For instance, injera flat bread for Ethiopian food.
Not sure who was talking about the dates and the peanut butter. I buy Medjool dates from a company Rancho Meladuco and they have an almond cashew butter that they like to sell for people to pair w the dates. I don’t. I can appreciate why they think it works.
Hi Minnie xoxoxo @Dazercat , please give her a pet !

This Yank remembers his very first chicken fried steak. Like WTF is it? Chicken or steak?
Beans restaurant and Bar on 6th and Guadalupe in Austin TX. 1980.
I was hooked.
Let me know where I can get one that’s not fried and not steak without the cream gravy
I had a good run
Minnie gives you a smooch right back. Well. More of a lick. But a gentle one.
I ordered @Salty
Egg White omelette
With spinach, Swiss, jalapeño, tomato, onions. Dry wheat toast and fruit.
A jar of corn chowder from the freezer, added a can of black beans, some chopped frozen serranos and a bit of sour cream. Yummy.
So delicious. I’m a fan!
I love a good chicken stew. I like putting chipotle peppers in mine.
Is that spicy? My husband can barely do black pepper lol
Your husband omg and his picky needs lol! Joking aside, chipotle is spicy but a little bit adds good flavor.
Finally bought myself a cast iron skillet.
Did my first sirloin in it. Pretty pretty pretty good.
Looking forward to cleaning up some grease.
But I’m going to learn to use a little. Cut down on splatter.
Minnie AND Benson approved
Why this hate against those fantastic ingredients?
