Exciting! Can’t wait to see how that works for you!
Pressure canning is a whole new science to us. Excited to try. The first thing will probably be turnips. Pint jars to augment soups and stews
Love pressure canning! You might pickle and then can. We use to do new potatoes, beets, sauerkraut never tried meats. Soon as I get moved, I’m getting back into canning! I loved collecting cute jars too!
My dinner tonight consists of :
• medium rare steak
• sautéed mushrooms
• roasted bell pepper
• roasted mixed gems
BLTs with Kentucky tomatoes my parents brought me while visiting, both heirloom and regular stock. They were green and ripened on my counter, so tasty! I guess technically BLATs since I added avocado. On toasted sourdough. I couldn’t find any baking sheets so had to cook bacon on the stove top and now I need to clean it all from the splatter but it was worth it!!!
Black bean and poblano quesadillas.
With a lemon crema and Cholula
With a salad. Olive Oil and champagne vinegar.
