I was skeptical at first. With this recipe. I Wasn’t sure about the caramelized onions. But it turned out wonderful. And they were a much lighter pasta shell. Very light and fluffy. With cheese of course.

I wish I wanted to make my dads Galumpkes. But they are too labor intensive for just the 2 of us. Maybe someday while I have football on all day.

Grilled ingredients for a big batch of salsa verde. I’m planning to freeze small batches so we have a taste of summer this winter. It’s one of our favorite winter treats. Too tired to finish making it tonight though. Final pics tomorrow.

Car meal! Visited a food truck in the parking lot of our hardware store and had gyros and waffle fries. They sure loaded them up! The meat was flavorful and not rubbery, that’s a win in my book.

Gyros are my absolute. But you do need skinny fries and for them to be inside the gyro! :stuffed_flatbread: looks super good though. Never as good as roadside in Greece

Oh my…brilliant! :scream: That would be next level! I wish gyros were more accessible here, so I end up trying any I see on any menu and they are often so subpar. I was just happy for solid basics here. Usually I’m such a stickler but a halfway decent gyro gets a pass!
