Foodies Unite #7(trigger warning food) GNOC, GNOC, GNOCCHI ON HEAVEN'S DOOR!

Very lucky here in London that several places do very very good ones. To be honest Rosa you could do it yourself better. The Souvlaki marinade is so simple, add tzatziki and lovely fresh salad, and bouncy, semi sweet, grilled flatbread. And skinny fries! :fries:

Souvlaki marinade

Tzatziki mix (salt and drain/squeeze grated cucumber)

These work well and super simple. Flat breads made with flour, baking powder and Greek yoghurt and EVOO. lots of salad stuffed in, you seem to have amazing tomatoes!

Oh my goodness I don’t know why I never considered trying to make my own! I’ve made loads of flatbreads over the years, too. I’m going to give it a shot. Thank you!

I went for the low fat cottage cheese this morning with an overripe nectarine  that I had to cut good parts off of and some good blueberries.

Taramasalata on nice toasted bread with pickled cucumber and lemon zest. Epic and simple. Piped it onto the bread from a simple sandwich bag cut at the point.

Because this is the first sober weekend we treated ourselves with some monkfish tail. Baked it and dressed with a butter and shellfish sauce w/samphire. Cheaper than what we normally would fork out on the DOC and far more therapeutic to cook and enjoy.

My fella and I have been researching how to smoke meats in our charbroiler grill, I guess it’s made for smoking but we have never tried to. Our test run was a pork loin that we heavily seasoned with salt and lots of black pepper, smoked with hickory and I have to say it is delicious! We are excited to try other cuts that take longer and have more connective tissue. Yum. We also cooked red potatoes in tin foil with butter and garlic.
