The girls went to eight different shops to get peppermint essence today and ended up having to buy an actual mint plant in the end. I made mint syrup myself!

Last October a friend served me this Persian Soup at her house and I sent the recipe to another friend. Today that friend brought the soup over ready to serve. It was wonderful! Truly a delight.
A combination of different beans, chickpeas ( garbanzos), white beans (cannellini ), lentils, many different fresh herbs, cilantro, parsley, dill, chives and mint, spinach, caramelized onion cooked to serve on top along with an olive oil infused with mint and topped with sour cream.
I will post the recipe in case anyone is interested. There are substitutes if the stated ingredients are not available. Reshteh noodles.

Blueberries and cranberries…
(my teeth are not stained from them.) I brush them soon after eating. I have worried about it in the past but am also interested in the taste and benefits of the berries.

Bon appetit everyone!

You made your dear relative’s French Toast! It looks great!
Do you just plop the banana, 2 eggs, and some oats in the pan stir it up and have your pancake?
Need @Sabrina80 's Banana, egg and oat pancake recipe please!

@Deelzebub how long do you leave your eggs on the counter? Just curious… I know they are unrefrigerated at the shops over there. ( It might be you do not and were using them)
