Dubuque Millwork District Night Market ftw! This was from a Vietnamese inspired food truck. Bahn Mi with paté and pork and the typical toppings, egg rolls and i forget the name of this dish of garlic chicken. Delicious, all of it. Almost forgot to take a photo. Lovely jazz quintet played old standards, perfect weather and saw some good friends.

The arugula that I grew that went wild was soft and tender… the bouquets that I would make with it’s flowers and fronds of fennel… just dreams of times past

First waffle in my new waffle maker. Kiddo loves waffles so I thought it would be a useful buy (any excuse for kitchen gadgets lol)
I used an organic Canadian multigrain waffle mix (wheat, oats, flax, millet, rye, buckwheat). I disguised his with lots of butter, and half local honey/local maple syrup. 
Looking forward to some savoury waffles for me!

It was nice, I’m glad I know can enjoy my own company without needing to drink. It only crossed my mind after when it was tidy up time. So I’m happy I did enjoy it.
I have put everything away and I’m watching Netflix in the garden now.
