Your tomatoes you grew either last year or the year before were the prettiest tomatoes I’ve ever seen in my life! And you did it in pots!

Sometime, please say whether you could take some pinches of the mint, 4:00’s or oregano from old place to new place. Maybe that stuff just grows all over the place. I need to look at plant thread.

( thanks on the food, it comes from growing a lot of my own, once upon a time.)

I did take some dill, thyme and mint but only small amounts. We decided not to take 4 o’clocks because it’s invasive here. They’re in pots but I am mostly going to be collecting seeds from the dill because it’s almost dead. The mint is flowering now so I’ll put it in the big barrel where I want it to live and I’m sure it will come back next year. Same for the thyme, but I dug up a larger chunk of it and it looks happy even though it’s a bit ragged. If nothing happens I’ll start over next year and it will be okay!

had a couple friends over last night. Easy starter of guac and chips, manchego, olives and crackers.

For dinner: burgers and brats on the grill with all the fixins. Potato salad, and summer salad: mixed greens, strawberry, perfectly ripe nectarine, red onion, avocado and a homemade honey lemon thyme viniagrette.

Eat the fridge breakfast of soft scrambled eggs, guac, a brat, the end of the summer sala, fruit salad (watermelon,pineapple,cherries and blackberries)

Again…felt really good making this happen with the kiddo! Yay food! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Dill sandwich pickles done, “ketchup” is done. I liked it, didnt feel like ketchup. If nothing else It would make a great base for BBQ sauce or poured over a roast in a crock pot
