Foodies Unite #7(trigger warning food) GNOC, GNOC, GNOCCHI ON HEAVEN'S DOOR!

My first attempt of making an “American” cheesecake, with puréed strawberries. Looks like someone stabbed the cake and it died LOL

@Milele, however, approves :sunglasses:

Need to go to the store and restock on fruit.
Although I love the simplicity of just having 2 fruits and they’re already prepped.

Nachos with ground chicken and vegan Rotel dip the easy way. Salsa and tortilla chips is my kryptonite.

And a chanterelle sandwich for dessert
My husband was away foraging for chanterelle earlier today. Didn’t though he was going to get any so I prepped dinner, we ended up eating both.

Wow on ALL the food!
@Thirdmonkey how many quarts can you do at once? Would love to see the inside w the jars in there! Congrats on your new canning helper!
@Olivia that looks good! I am curious what Finnish cheesecake is like or if there even is.
I am half French, and my French sister always wants ''the cheeeeeeesecake in the freezer" when she visits. She always knew I would have one in there. For her it was not too sweet, and she loved, loved, loved it, for other Euro friends, it’s been too sweet, plus palates have changed. I would make it without hardly any sugar. The ones in the freezer for many years were bought from … actually a pie place that specialized in the cheesecakes also… ( ha ha)
@Dazercat Yay Daisy to step in!!
@MrsOdh wow that you can just find the chanterelles! How lovely!

Mt Hood Bing Cherries
Bon appetit everyone

Well usually make cheesecakes with gelatine and letting set overnight in a fridge. No eggs, no time in the oven. Flavour wise, it’s usually berries, white chocolate or tart-ish fruit, like lemon, lime or mango.

Needed to use up the overripe peaches, apples, and the ends of onions not used…spicy and sweet peach apple chutney :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Taking any recommendations on what to eat it on please!!

Pork chops came to my mind first.

Mine too! I’m not much for cooking pork chops…so I guess this gives me a reason to find a great way to cook them. Thanks Eric!

I do prefer a pork tenderloin myself. But the chop came to my mind first.
