Im glad ur here  Sounds like a very reflective walk. Praying is wonderful… i pray aswell. I learned the other day tho that prayer aldo required action on our part. We can pray to God and He can take care of ALOT but we also need to do our part of the work as well. Have u thought of a plan to help u in ur recovery?

I like to start my day with a morning routine. Waking up at the same time, coffee, daily recovery readings, prayer, exercise. It helps set the mood for the rest of the day. Then in early recovery, when i had cravings, i came on here FIRST. Dont pick up, no matter what!

I was taught not to shy away from negative feelings when thoughts about my addiction came up. I was told that was what I was moving away from in sobriety, but it was there lurking back in my past, and also could come in my future if I picked up again.

Good reasons to keep it green and think the drink through.
