Oh no, I did! Got those as they aired. The new seasons episodes were hit or miss for me. I liked the garbage man one, and Mr Chuckleteeth. The rest weren’t that memorable for me. COULDN’T STAND the “new” Mulder and Scully they worked with…Einstein and some other name, the young agents that tagged along with them. So annoying, and a bit lazy by Chris Carter.
It was also very “new” feeling…very slick production. Part of the allure of X-Files, for me at least, is the full-on 90s-ness of it. Lemme get that grainy video and oversized business suits.

Oh don’t get me wrong… I don’t love the new episodes, but if you are doing a re watch you gotta do all of it.

Tonight I really miss the meeting I used to attend on Friday nights. On cool, rainy fall nights, walking into that room, blistering hot from the old radiators and smelling of Folgers, was always such a comfort. On many days, it was the first time I felt like I exhaled…the first time I didn’t have to worry about something. I could just sit with my Styrofoam cup and listen and be. Thinking of those guys tonight…and remembering what a miracle it is that all of us are sober today.

Friday the 13th Part 3… before Jason gets his mask… especially in HD you can tell it was made in 1982.

I thought the new episodes had all the same fun, camp, and mystery. Just updated with a modern beat. The computer episode was brilliant!

Though… now I kind of want to rewatch X-Files.
