Friday Thread #2

Right. Couldn’t afford shoes.
And I’d have to pick up wood in the forest on the way home for the fire as well otherwise we had not heat for the night!

You’ll have fabulous muscles on your legs, and beautiful skin from the mud pack.

It was uphill both ways.
What are fenders? I didn’t have soft wheels, no brakes and it always snowed when I was a kid, even in the summer!

This weekend we are going on a little trip to a nearby island. It is famous for octopus and fugu (the fish that if u prepare it wrong it kills you). It is literally a 20 minute ferry ride but hopefully the kids will feel like it is far.

Nope nothing like that.
Mum used to scrap the mud off and use it to patch the walls!

Soy sauce and wasabi will jazz it up. They cut the sashimi super thin and it looks pretty.

Friyay! I get to keep working on what was to be a day off because of poor planning on my part, then work some more on Saturday.

You know, I’ve been thinking about this lately because if there are multiple hills from point A to point B, then YES it is uphill both ways, but also downhill both ways. Random thoughts while walking my dog uphill both ways around the block because it’s a hilly neighborhood.

Um…well…you did just move! Wouldn’t say poor planning…just an overly stimulated week!

On the home front, finishing up a lion and a R2D2 costume for a socially distanced Halloween. 2020 is bizarre, man.

Word. Evals though. Should’ve had them done before, but finding the out of office mode was the only way I’ve had time to focus on it.

Omg, R2D2?! :grinning:

Feeling pretty okay right now after a rough night of pain - going to take it easy, work on organizing my zen den, journal and spend some time stretching out in the brisk sunny day. @Yoda-Stevie the sun is shining in my life today, in more ways than one :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
