I know your comment about hy vee was like, a week ago, but I just read it.
How about caseys? Not many things I miss about Des moines, but I do miss all the good pizza options.

“Famous for pizza?” I know people rave about Casey’s but I haven’t lived near enough to one to make it a go-to, and what I’ve tried has been meh, which has mostly been a quick slice on the occasional road trip. I’m pretty picky, though. We lived in the Quad Cities when we first moved this direction a few years back and they were supposedly famous for their style of pizza, too. I about gagged when I had my first taste! Just call me a pizza snob (a pizza snob who likes grocery store pizza ). I’m in Dubuque now and haven’t really explored the options much yet.

I prefer salty snacks over sweet… not saying I don’t like ice cream though… especially if it’s got something savoury mixed like peanut butter

Honestly any snack works! I would rather eat snacks than a meal lol But I love the most popcorn, mango chili, and cauliflower pretzels.
