Friday Thread #2

Looking forward to not going to work tomorrow. Not that my little guy lets me sleep in as he’s up by the crack of dawn, but I don’t have to rush to get us ready. The snow has turned damp so tomorrow might call for a snowman. It’s 840pm & just finished an episode of Peaky Blinders… and now I’ll play my word games before bed like a little old lady :joy:

Man those shoes and burrito look amazing!

Pretty quite night on my end, have to work tomorrow… ugggh. Little cleaning around the house, laundry, and maybe another 30 minutes of vegging in front of the TV before bed.

This is what’s up on this Friday. Sleepy tea and the docu-series Trial 4. (Good but it makes me angry).

My little human has been up since 430am  feeling anxious for my dental procedure tomorrow so why not add some coffee on top of that? Sure! :joy: Then off to work

Got half an hour or so til my bf gets home and my Mum comes round for dinner. Savouring some time to myself snuggled up under a blanket watching TV.

Hahaa how did you get on and when did you crash?!

I’m at work and trying to stay focused  but I’m used to being an early riser. Just extra short on sleep as I don’t sleep well and I’m pretty nervous for the procedure (not the regular wisdom teeth part, but the ankylosed one). I think I’d feel better if it was causing me problems. But I’ll get through it. I hope

Well at least having it removed it will never get a chance to cause you problems!

I haven’t been to the dentist for over 10 years. No issues at the moment but keep meaning to book in just in case all my teeth are about to fall out without me realising  Dreading to know what state they will be in… At the moment Covid is my excuse, most places are only taking on emergencies or private patients (out of my price range!).

Yes I think elective surgeries will be cancelled here soon so I’d be in just in the nick of time. But deep down I want to cancel. My insurance covers some but it’s several thousand :grimacing: I’m regretting that Tempurpedic mattress that’s on its way :joy:

Now I’m anxious for you! (half) joking. I’ll be glad when you let us know you’re home and resting. And hopefully free of any embarrassing anesthesia stories (although those stories can be so funny!) Sending good vibes for a smooth procedure and quick recovery!

Oh, and we are shopping for a new mattress, too! Ours is over a decade old. Can’t wait!
