Friday Thread #2

It’s Friday again folks!
How will you spend your sober friday?
I have all my errands done and from now on - it’s 3:40 pm here - I snuggle with the cats in bed, have a delicious dinner later and watch some episodes of our favourite series with my husband. I’m tired and lazy and that’s 100 % ok :+1::blush:

Working a late shift. My weekend starts at 11 tonight. Glad I don’t feel the urge or need to drink after work no more. Will unwind with some tea and Luna.

Approaching 5pm here, my Son is nearly home from school and then the weekend officially starts. Really tired today but planning a nice bath, new pjs and relaxing with a book. Love that my default isn’t drinking to start the weekend. What a strange way to celebrate when I think about it now, waking up on Saturday even more tired than I was Friday!

It’s Friday morning here in the Pacific Northwest, just getting my Friday started with a cup of coffee. No plans for the day other than work, guess I’ll wing it.

Happy Friday y’all.

Well, friday doesn’t end with watching series but with heading to bed because we are both tired. I guess I grow old, not even couchparty on friday evening anymore :sleeping::sleeping::sleeping::sleeping::sleeping:

It’s Friday evening here in Canada and I’m happy to get through another 24 hours sober. The past is the past and the future hasn’t happened yet, but for today, I’ve done what I said I would do, and it feels good :+1: :innocent:

It is 11.30pm in the UK so I am off to bed, but I have had such a lovely sober evening. It was my first girls’ night test and I passed! They were drinking but I didn’t and still had a lovely time. I skipped to my car after and now enjoying a relaxing tea before bed. I will remember to take my make up off and won’t annoy my husband by snoring, although I did still forget my keys so he had to get out of bed to let me in :woman_facepalming::rofl: Looking forward to a lovely weekend now.

Hope you all have a good evening too.

You know, I am not sure. I’ve been getting my 12 year old caught up on all the MUST SEE movies, ones like Goonies, Princess Bride, Napoleon Dynamite, Titanic, Forrest Gump etc. We did Sneakers the other day - so we will need to go through our catalog and see what’s next!

Suggestions? What’s a must see movie that has been made in the past 40 years?

Little guy is in bed and I’m in my jammies laying on my bed. I stole his Switch and played a bit of Animal Crossing :joy: Now hubby and I will soon watch The Last Kingdom (I think it’s the final episode of the most recent season) after he has his turn on Animal Crossing

The Lost Boys? Classic cheese

Well…I’m thinking The Sandlot. Or Grown Ups. Although Grown Ups is not really “must see”. How about Caddyshack?

I cry at the end of “Big”. As the mother of boys the thought of one of them disappearing tears me up. I do realize it is fiction. But still…:sob::sob:

Make food for my arm candy so he can eat while hanging out with his buddies online
Play the piano
Go for a walk to look at the stars and listen to music

That’s what I know for sure.

@Matt Nice list. Now I kind of want to watch either Big or Honey, I Shrunk the Kids…
