My skeptical eye and some Blair Witch builds bonus for my high-vis shirt so I don’t become roadkill. Plus fungus among us.
Today I am off because I work the weekend so today is my day to clean. Tunes, coffee and dodging kitties while I scrub my floors will keep me sober today. I just need to decide on a special dinner treat. Happy Friday fellow sober world walkers. It helps my heart to know you are all out there.
Good morning Matti!
Good morning Jazzy!
Good morning you all amazing sober folks!
What are you doing today?
I will enjoy tea in the morning sun on the balcony soon, then my first trip to the regional farmers market. I’m curious what varieties of veggies and fruits they offer.
Afterwards it will be a medium busy day, have to do some office work and chores.
I’m looking forward to reading a nice book on the deck in the afternoon sun.
Early to bed as tomorrow a whole day of group therapy is scheduled which will be intense.
I have work until lunchtime, then can’t decide between the gym/pool or a nap. If I am quick I may be able to do both
I want to have a family dinner this evening as feel like I haven’t seen the kids much this week. Last Friday we had fish and chips, followed by ice cream (still getting over the spots from the ice cream ) so may try similar.
We had an invite to a friends party this evening but not sure we can make it with our current colds. Not sure we would be welcome in the current sneezy state
Ahhhhh Friday, the best day of the week. The day where expectations are at it’s highest and anticipation makes you tickled pink with excitement. I’m kind of slacking with work today, finished a rather large deliverable yesterday and spending my morning picking up the house.
Tonight, my good fellow TS friend’s sister’s band is playing in Seattle tonight, I’d really like to go see her perform (I’ve met her once during a lunch meet up in Portland). Hopefully I can make it happen.
And @HoofHearted my husband has Fridays working from home and has also been less than motivated so he’s been “bugging” me more than usual! I don’t mind though. We have had some good chats and talked about our dreams last night. He’s better at remembering his and they certainly are vivid! I’ve been less than active here this week preoccupied with other things but I’m glad to see the Friday thread as usual! Today was a weird day and tonight my fella has invited a friend over to play music. Eric got a fancy looper thing for his birthday this year and he has had a lot of fun already but I’m sure tonight will be a blast for him. I might be called to play the keyboard, we’ll see.
My wife also works from home, we meet up in the kitchen and have our “water cooler” talks while we make lunch.
She just had a first screening call with a company in NYC, sounded promising, right in her wheelhouse. She’s got another interview Monday with another company. Hoping she can land one soon (I’m sure she will).
