American Pie is such a great movie. They just donāt make them like they used toā¦.
Just as I was about to be negative about yet another weekend of boredom thinking about those in my past out having a good (or bad) time at the bar or club, I realizedā¦wait, I should be celebrating that Iāve been trying to find something to do on the weekends that involves others that do not drink! I discovered THIS FORUM/CHAT ROOM. It just randomly popped in my head to google if there was anything of the ālikeā and here I am! And by the way, those from my past that are out right now have expressed their weaknesses to me and praise me on the strength it must take to do what I do to stay sober. Also, Iāve had at the least Well over a thousand nights out at the bars and clubs and I MIGHT still have less than ten of those nights come to mind as a great time and thatās nothing to write home about as even the good times came with some form of guilt!! Besides, I get to wake up feeling wonderful every day now for two solid years and that, my sober friends, is well worth the struggle!! Good night new pals!

It is the weekend of the funeral for my Mom. Iām glad I have you guys in my pocket and Iām glad to be here:
I am very aware that emotions and grief could take these days in an instant.
I have 7,000 things to do today so Iād better start. Love you guys. No fecking drinking, you hear me! That last line was for me. š©·

A restful day with hours of chatting with a friend, staying in my pyjama until afternoon, warm cats cuddling me, nice talks with neighbours.
Feeling good, again tired and off to bed

Sold my first item on Facebook marketplace. Grateful that I realized how to spot the scams the other day and have shut those aāholes down. Hopefully I am able to continue with success.
