Okay so I wanted to start a thread for all things GoT; thoughts on episodes, theories, memes, any GoT festive clothing/food, etc.
I’ll start off by asking for everyone’s thoughts of last nights episode?
Its gonna get awkward with jon and dany when he tells her hes the king and related lol. Interested to see what jaime says and there is a war coming real soon! Excited.

I was not a fan of the episode last night overall, it had cool moments but it just felt…meh. It really felt like the last episode of season 7. Season 7 ended with so much anticipation and this season started with a fizzle I thought. The dragon riding sequence was just stupid. Daenerys is really gonna risk the life of the one person that is enabling her entire presence in the north(John) to ride dragons together. Ridiculous. Also not seeing Night King or his army made it just feel like a soap opera with all the interpersonal drama going on.
I did really like yuron greyjoy though. I think he’s a really good “villain” and weirdly the only one got can kinda trust. He has clear motivations and is a good ground for all the veiled double crossing going on. I thought Cersei was hella sneaky by sleeping with him so she could legitimize her and Jamie’s kids. I really liked how after everything she is still trying to hold on to her family’s dynasty in a way.
I’m not giving up on the season. I’m still a huge fan. I guess i just felt a little let down. We’ve had weak season openers in the past so who knows. It just seems like they have so far to go this season and it started with an episode of wheel spinning. We’ve made no progress from where season 7 ended as an audience. Characters in the show have met up, and john learned well he really is, but we as the audience knew all this.
I understand the need for some of the stuff to happen, but seems like it didn’t need to take a whole episode.
I just want to see the awkward conversation between Jamie and Bran in the next episode 
Bran is just such weirdo. Every scene he’s in he just like creepily stares from the background. I simultaneously love and hate it.
I am guessing he won’t tell her. He never wanted it anyway. But word will get out and it will.come to him. She ain’t gonna take it well.
Meh… Slow start and a big cliff hanger. Damnit! Should have expected it, died a little inside when it happened.
Think Bran will ask Jamie for a push?
I almost ran over a guy who looks like Peter dinklage who ran into the middle of the road. Spring is here in Syracuse.
Lots of set up for the remainder of the season. I too am curious as to how this Jamie/Bran reunion is going to play out! I made dragon deviled eggs for the occasion!! 
I have one of those too! Lolol!
Is anyone going to wheel poor Bran inside? Will he stare at everyone intently all season? Lol
The dragon flying scene was like the kid riding Falcor in the Neverending Story. Definitely not the best season opener.
Hated tonight’s episode… nothing happened!!!
Next week’s look way more promising fingers crossed
I hope so… need some action, both first episodes focused way too much on closing character arcs and closing loops of relationships
I think the first 2 episodes had to be like that bc they have to build up the story archs before the battles begin. Once the battle begins it basically doesnt stop I think. They broke the record for longest continuous battle scene with this seasons episodes. So youll definitely get the action you’re looking for.
