Just wanted to say Im happy to have found this app. It has kept my faith alive reading some of your posts. I currently have 12 days sober and have not felt so free and alive since i can remember. I know its only the start of my journey and it wont be easy but hope some more of you can inspire me and keep my faith strong. Ive been a meth user for many years and have the two most beautiful daughters that love me to death. Ive just found out my father has cancer and it makes me so sad that ive been so distant and selfish. I just want to make him proud for once while he is still with us. I know i dont want my kids to feel what im feeling. Just wanted to share a little. God bless you all.

Congratulations with your 12 days sober, that’s a great start to built on. Sorry to hear about your dad but like you said yourself: you can make him proud! You can make your daughters proud and don’t forget yourself!

Hi there, Dakota. Congrats on your 12 days! It is quite a start already. Anyway, I’m sorry for your dad and you should realize that you can make your daughters not feel what you feel by start doing this journey and be a healthy dad. Have faith in this journey and let’s face it together!
