Has anyone developed a gluten or beer allergy from drinking too much beer?

I am not sure how you can narrow down a gluten allergy to having too much of one thing. I have a gluten intolerance. It tends to go along with an unhealthy gut, which definitely isn’t helped by drinking beer.

I had some moderate to severe IBS symptoms when drinking, beer made it worse, and certain types of beer destroyed me. It cleared up after quitting, but took months. Now sugar increases the symptoms. Guess mom was right, gotta eat your greens!

Amazingly, my father developed a beer allergy. He is an alcoholic and quit drinking when I was in the third grade (I am now 45). There came a point that if he was in the general area of a beer he would sneeze uncontrollably and turn red. Long story short, doctor confirmed it was a beer allergy…or atleast an ingredient in the beer.

Could be? My dad doesnt consume it. Just smell it.
Thats so interesting! I believe I have an allergy to beer. Get bad stomach pains, bright red itchy cheeks and just feel exhausted. Even if I have 1.
I was debating if it’s gluten in general or specifically beer.
Gonna try cutting out gluten for 2 weeks and see:)
