Go The F*#k to Sleep-what do you listen to to get some zzs?

Another night of insomnia. 2am and I was attempting a guided meditation. My 6am work day is not delivering a bright eyed and bushy tailed MagicMama! Going on day 10 of little to no sleep and I LOVE my sleep.

So please link your favorite guided meditation, hypnosis (same thing?), music… I will try it all♥️

Peace and love…and sleep, glorious sleep!

Seriously though, I use the Insight Timer app, there are lots of good calming sleep meditations:

It’ll come, I promise. It’s natural, eventually your body will settle. In the meantime take care & be kind to yourself :innocent:

Podcast designed specifically to help you fall asleep. It’s been a godsend

I fall sleep to this and have a playlist of other epic fantasy music that goes on through the whole night. I’m a weird one. Lol

I had to look him up :rofl:

A little white noise. I have a small table fan I’ve run while sleeping since I was like 10. Drowns out small noise with a hum.

Didn’t realize till I was maybe 25 it’s the noise that helped me sleep, not the cooling.

Past few months I’ve started trying to sleep without it because apparently I like to torture myself, lol.

I have a tumeric milk that I make with ashwagandha, I have it for breakfast. So will keep up with that if it is supposed to help!

I don’t listen to anything, I’m one of those people that needs complete silence and darkness to sleep. I wear a sleep mask, that seems to help.
When I can’t sleep, I refuse to let myself toss and turn. I was taught that if we let ourselves toss and turn in bed too much it makes it a negative space, and you’ll constantly think of that when trying to sleep. I dunno. Lol. I get up out of bed, grab my book and a book light and I go to the spare room (as to not disturb my husband). Usually by the time I get to the spare room downstairs I’m tired enough again to fall back asleep, and if not, I read until my eyes are heavy.
