We went to a concert tonight to see Merkules. For those of you who dont know, he is a Canadian rapper. A LOT of his music is about struggling with addiction, emotional struggles and trauma, and growth. His music has been a massive part of my life and a massive part of my sobriety journey. I listen to his music everyday. A few good ones to look up:

ANYWAYS at the end of the show he did a free meet and greet. We got to take a picture with him. My fiance got his hat signed, and I got to tell him that we are almost a year sober. I got to personally thank and shake the hand of one of my biggest heros tonight. It was amazing!
