Just my first post to affirm to myself that I’m starting a long journey for the better. Even if it hurts along the path, I hope it is worth it.

I’m restarting today. I had a month and a half. I didn’t realize how much less anxious I was, how much better I slept, and how much less shame it would bring. We can do this!

@Dack, @JourneyMan , @Merfran - you all deserve a serene sobriety. There are many paths to get there, but they all require us to change how we think and act. Attitudes about being sober and about being high will change, who we hang around will change, how we put our values into action will change.

Oh you were so fun while under the influence
I always act out but guess what, eventually it gets old. The only person that was laughing at my stupid az jokes towards the end was me and I was drunk. Towards the end I was just super annoying and sick throwing up everywhere

Recovery is definitely worth it man I don’t even miss the drugs anymore and my life is actually livable. It does get easier and you need help make sure you have a supportive community and check out some meetings if you haven’t already.
