I just wanted to let everyone know you are never alone. Everyone who is alive has blessings all around them. Try staying out of your head and in the moment and the blessings are easier to see. Well said, thanks Mark for the encouraging words going into my second week will be a hard one. Although I’m most worried about Thursday night -Sunday for my drinking issue, I now realize that building my strength starts during the week with AA. Now I think it’s time to start looking for a sponser. Have a good week everyone.

@marty Good for you for making the decision to find a sponsor! Starting/doing the steps is where I finally found real freedom. Having someone to be accountable to, that knows exactly what you’re going through and can guide you is an amazing gift! Work it, you’re worth it!
