Iā€™m grateful I woke up safe, warm, and sober in my own bed.

Iā€™m grateful for the little legs that kicked me all nightā€”reminders that Iā€™m needed, loved, and not alone.

Iā€™m grateful I found this site. Itā€™s been more than just a resourceā€”I can feel it shifting my mindset and helping to pull me out of old, destructive patterns.

Iā€™m grateful for my big brother, who loves me enough to send a video about how running can rewire the brainā€”something I desperately need as I continue to fight the anxiety and depression thatā€™s haunted me most of my life.

And even though the 9-5 grind can feel soul-sucking and exhausting, Iā€™m grateful for a job that helps me provide a roof over our heads and a cozy little home for my boys.

Grateful to be sober today. Grateful I spent Christmas with my mom and nephew, even if thete were trauma triggers. Grateful for this place. Grateful for my children and husband. Grateful for the little things people do in a day, just to show a little bit of kindness. Grateful to be going to bed sober. Xo.
