Week 3 of a 12 week cut phase. Down 8.6 lbs. Tracking macros and maintaining the muscle mass is an exercise in discipline for sure.
Hitting my last lift for a whileā¦ surgery tomorrow a.m. what should i lift for tonight? I know I should probably squat but Iāll probably hit up the bench lol. Fuck Iām gonna miss lifting for the next 4-6 weeks.
I know itāll feel like an eternity but it the big picture itās just a blipā¦and youāll be even stronger.

Taking time off sucks but it will go by quicker than you think.
Good luck and heal up. I missed a full 12 weeks a couple years back after rotator cuff surgery. I concentrated on some cardio and physical therapy. Youāll be back in no time.
Thanks @dls @TMAC @Jasty2. I benchedā¦ went pretty heavy for me these days. Iām sure itāll go by fast. Iām thinking of cutting some weight like 15 or so

Some functional strength training today for me, great session as far as what I accomplished, however it has come at a cost, one of my hamstrings pulled and then I over corrected myself and twinged the biceps femoris tendon in my other knee, add to that the abdominus rectus muscles still havenāt fully healed and keep twinging. 30 inch box jumps well and truly killed me too!
Iām walking like a crippled pensioner who is about to sh@t himself!
Looks like Iām gonna be sticking to upper body for a few sessions!

Sobriety day 261. Shoulders/abs day today. Starting week 4 of a 12 week cut. Down exactly 12 lbs. Earnestly looking for the Abs that allegedly are hiding beneath the queso.
Ooh canāt wait for Jan 31 when gyms reopen in Ontario Canada, itās almost like a craving for drugs! Gotta go!
