Not my prettiest but I don’t care! Mama’s proud today! I’ve broken through a massive emotional plateau last week. And today I’ve broken through the equally rigid (though maybe not as important) squat plateau I’ve been stuck under since last summer. Coincidence? Methinks not. Double PB today and room for more! Exhaling now.

Sobriety day 309. Weighed in yesterday at the completion of cut phase week 10. Currently sitting at 191.8 that’s a total loss of 23.8 lbs. I’m planning on 2 more weeks but the wife isn’t at her goal cut weight and is anticipating an additional 3 weeks so I’ll likely go the rest of the time to support her efforts. If current track is any indication I’ll drop another 7.5 lbs putting me at 184.3 with a total loss north of 30 lbs over almost 4 months. Bench, squat, and deadlifts increased this week. Current caloric intake at 2040 cal with 200+g protien. </= 166g carbs. </= 68g fats. The grind continues. Stay steady friends.
2lbs of muscle. Not happy about the 1% bf increase. All in all not terrible. The nutrition place is always pushing supplements but I won’t do it. I know I could gain muscle faster but I want to do it naturally.

Most nutrition stores have something similar. You can also get scales on Amazon that can do a similar breakdown and you can track it with an app. It wouldn’t have the weight of each limb but it has the bf and the like
St. Pattys day leg lift. My dad would’ve been years old 63 today, he’s been gone 10 years now and it still hurts. Deal with pain in the gym not a bottle.
Back and Bi’s on sobriety day 314. Second to last week in my cut phase. I was going to extend another few weeks with the wife til she met her initial goal but thank God she has decided to transition to a maintenance phase with me next Saturday. Maintaining muscle mass and strength in a deficit to lose fat has been grueling. 8. More. Days. Lol. Have a great day friends.
Confession alert!
Hello gym family. I’ve been slacking a bit with my exercise other than 2 yoga classes in the last 2 weeks. I keep on saying tomorrow and then tomorrow comes and goes again.
I also want to get rid of about 3 to 4kg. I’ve got a family thing in exactly 4 Fridays time and I want to look and feel good, SO I am sending this all out to the universe, my higher power and you guys, to get back to healthier habits.
I’m more secure in my quit now, and the Lays and choccies will go on the back burner for a while.
A fusion of low carb and intermittent fasting, normally works well for me but I’ll give it some more thought.

Cut phase weigh in at the close of week 11/12. 189.0 lbs. This week’s loss was 2.8 lbs. Total loss 26.8 lbs. 1 week til maintenance for 4 weeks. Stay motivated friends.
The goal was distance and endurance today. I have such an issue with pace. I feel proud I was able to, for the most part, hold the same pace. It was a really good run for me mentally.
