Haha touché!
Going to keep myself accountable on here this month and see if it helps my consistency. Just want to get back into my running and general fitness
July is going to be THE month I finally get my ass moving
Day 3 July challenge done (x2 rounds)
20 min run
3 rounds 20 punches, 20 hooks, 20 kicks on bag, ended with 100 fast straight punches
I got 2nd place today

Day 4 (yesterday) - Rest Day
Day 5 done
20 minute run; day 5 July Challenge; lower body workout - squats, lunges, deadlifts.
Chest day on sober day 423 in the last week of an 11 week bulk phase. I was pretty tired this morning when the alarm rang due to our neighborhood independence day celebration shooting fireworks late into the night. It was fun watching with the family but man it was rough at 5 am. I actually rolled over, set a new alarm for an hour and a half later, and then remembered something I told a former trainee. Motivation comes from action and small victories, not the other way around, and action comes from discipline. I rolled out of bed and glad I did. Stay consistent, friends.
“The only workout you will regret is the workout you don’t do”
Today was so hard to get out the door but it is done. I’m bloated, crampy and hungry but at least now I feel less murdery lol
Day 6 (yesterday)
2 x rounds July challenge done
Day 7 (today) done
2 x rounds July challenge; 20 min run + 10 min incline walk; lunge and squat circuit
Really excited and proud to see my abs returning, have no one to share this excitment with so sharing it here lol
For crying out loud, that is awesome! Wow!
Haha thank you Dan!
Nice!! 4-6 pack coming along.
It’s so motivating when you start seeing results, makes the meh-I-don’t-wanna days more alright-let’s-do-something…
I agree with you. Hope I can start seeing mine in the near future. Got some work to do in the mean time. Thanks for the motivating pic.
Motivation right there! Well done!
This morning: Day 8 July challenge done; Fridays death by burpees done;
Late this arvo, last minute run was needed for sanity saving.
Well, the numbers are in. After an 11 week bulk phase I gained just over 14 lbs. 6 lbs of lean muscle, 5 lbs of body fat, 3 of everything else (cellular water, last night’s dinner , etc). I had hoped to keep the inevitable fat gain minimal and I am comfortable with the 1.2% increase given how much I was eating. First pic is 11 weeks ago, second is today. Time for a 3 week vacation to Greece
and I’ll start a disciplined 6 week shredding cut phase on my return. The goal there will be a 10 lb drop while maintaining muscle mass. Stay disciplined, friends!
I have a question. Why do you do a cut, then a bulk and now another cut. And I’m guessing it’s a cycle. Why not just continue to work on building muscle?
