Just got home from a wild relay run weekend - 208 miles, 12 runners, from VA to NC … I am tired and sore! But it was fun as hell and I can’t wait for the next team adventure. Yay to running sober!
It might feel like your losing a lot of strength. But 250 on the 4th set is still pretty good. Especially if your under 200lbs.
Thanks for the reassurance. 188 rn… gonna drop to 175ish I think
We ran through a bunch of towns but ended in Asheville!
Youre still way stronger than me if that helps lol
40-year-old K dog is going to do something 20 year old K Dog never did and that’s spend time after the workout to stretch well instead of cramming another mile or two in with my remaining time.
Keep grindin y’all
Stretching is so damn important for us older fellas… wish i would’ve been serious about it in my younger years.
Found a dude on marketplace w some decent prices on plates n stuff. Got a second barbell for 50 and 2, 35 lb plates for $1/lb. Not bad post covid!
Todays lifts
Incline bench stacked w landmine press
Should outward rotation w bands
1 armed Seated cable rows
Modified upright rows
Standing military presses
And lots of stretching all day. Jujistu is kicking my ass. Gonna probably cut out my morning run cause im feeling hurt w these workouts on those days.
First run back and it was harder than I thought it would be. I’m just happy to be back to my half training. It’s only a month away!
It’s the best for feeling great! I could’ve probably never stayed sober without it.
Awwww what great pic, super cute!!!
That’s AWESOME!!!
Finally accomplished my latest goal! 305 flat bench! Basically had a full meltdown after racking it.
315 coming soon
Thats the plan bro! I want those 3 plates BAD
I did to… hit 305 on my 44th bday and now I’m dropping weight probably would struggle with 275 rn… I guess I’m too old to chase numbers now. You’ll smash that shit soon, you’re a beast
