Wow guys! Never in a million years did I think I would get sober and clean at 21 but here I am 6 months later!!! From someone who used to be a garbage can for any kind of substance before, my life is better than I could have ever pictured it. I’m not saying it’s been easy but it’s definitely been worth it. I have been through illness, my birthday, holidays, neck injuries, loved ones’ death, and many many craving thoughts but I still maintained sober through it ALL! Today I love myself which I never thought would be possible. I got a call yesterday informing me I got a job as a house manager of a sober living house and will be helping other women to staying clean as well. I thank my higher power, my sponsor, my steps and my beautiful fellowship I have obtained through sobriety to get me through this half of a year. If I can do it, you most definitely can! I’m here for you. Stay strong

“a garbage can for any kind of substance before”, Wow! I never thought of it like that! That really puts it into perspective! Excellent job on your sobriety time ! You’ve gained years of life in those six months! I wish I had gotten sober younger and extended my youth! You won’t regret it for decades to come!
