Happy New Year everyone I’m new here, I downloaded this app to help me with a challenge that I’m going to be a part of on January 8th and it’s called 35 hard so I must go 35 days without any alcohol at all. The reason I’m joining that challenge is because I’m hoping that it will Kickstart me on an alcohol-free journey into the future. And so I’m fighting really hard right now to not go have my daily beer since anyway I have until January 8th to stop for 35 days. But I’m going to start practicing today

I’ve seen quite a few people have long term sobriety after a small challenge like dry January. Sometimes all it takes is seeing and feeling the benefits you gain from that challenge to give you the kick start. Take it one day at a time and those days will start adding up. My sobriety started with a one month keto diet! After failing to get sober so many times, in hindsight, I think it was the absence of stress that it was going to be “forever” that helped me. Sending you sober vibes
