I want to start with saying Great Job to all of you!! Every day we put one foot in front of the other and grind to put in that hard work to better our lives and ourselves. They say we have a disease that is incurable but can be managed Through counseling and meetings and a good support network. I have to say though, what I see in these communities is not a disease at all. I see bravery, camaraderie and pure determination to better oneself. So hats off to all of you!!! I’m happy to be here and to know I’m not alone…. Josh W.

@Caballo Welcome Josh, I’m happy you’re here and appreciate your words of encouragement. This is a great community, stick around and you’ll fall in love with it.
Having a strong community and support system with people who are going through what you’ve gone through and struggled with the same things in their own lives goes a long way to help. I don’t think I would have been able to make it on my own, so if you ever need someone to talk to or vent to send me a DM .
We’re all in this together and we do recover (/cliche)
