Has anyone ever tried Sobrenix?

So I got this letter from Rejuvica Health telling me the FTC sued them for deceptive advertising. At first I didn’t even recognize the product, Sobrenix, until I found a picture. I remembered using this years ago.

“STRUGGLING TO CONTROL YOUR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION? Sobrenix is designed to reduce alcohol cravings and help you detoxify your body so you can successfully manage alcohol consumption. Even better, taken before drinking, Sobrenix’s ingredients help you stop before you’ve had too much.”

Sound too good to be true? That’s because it was. I think I bought 2-3 bottles, at $30 each, believing it would help me. Didn’t do squat. Not even a placebo effect. I was so desperate at that time and it really let me down. I thought I was too far gone for it to work on. I can see why they got sued. Knowingly taking advantage of the sick and suffering.

I was trying anything that I thought might help, besides abstinence. So I guess I was just wondering if any of you ever tried any of these types of products while still actively drinking/addicted?

I was taking Kudzu Root for a while. I didn’t see any changes, not even placebo effect.

I remember taking this crazy product I thought was going to help. It came in lots of different flavours so I could always mix it up and try something new.
It was called “My very own bullshit”
Holy cow was that stuff dangerous, and did absolutely nothing.

It’s like those weird hangover cures some companies sell that never work. It takes a certain kind of evil to take advantage of vulnerable people like that. I’ve never heard of this product, but I’m glad they’re getting sued!

I almost completely forgot about this! When I got the original letter last year, it gave me an option to enter the suit if I, in fact, felt wronged by them. So I did, and haven’t thought about it since. Until today, when I got this letter from the FTC that included a $98 reimbursement check! :astonished:

This company deserved to go down for the crooks they are. It was truly wrong to knowingly feed on those in such a hopelessly, desperate state they’ll try anything, such as myself at the time. Obviously there is no magic cure. Even legit prescriptions don’t always work. I’m grateful to have made it to the other side by the support and knowledge I’ve gained in this community  That’s the way to do it!

Yo, for real tho, my horoscope told me this was going to happen over a month ago. It said I’d finally get a break from all the unexpected, unfortunate events I’ve been thru this year. This year sucked! How tf does it know that?! And also today, my mother randomly gave me and my brother $500 each “bc she had it” to help us out. Like, what?! :anguished: Why?! I didn’t ask. I hate asking them for money. It really is crazy, but I’m nothing but grateful bc I really need it

Result! :muscle: I held back from spending $100+ on vinyl today, some people would call that a win

That is a win! Years ago I had a detrimental shopping addiction (spent $9,000 on clothes in 3 months once :grimacing:) It takes alot of practice to tell yourself no, so well done

I’ve never heard of this. But $98 through the post? Just like that? Right before Christmas?
Win! Win! Win! :trophy:

You should use it to treat yourself and celebrate your sobriety in some way. Do you have a sober hobby? Or maybe a massage for some self care?
You deserve it.
