Having Anxiety and really having the urger to drink

Trying to keep my head straight and focused, but my anxiety of wanting to drink just to make this go away is very high right now. Can someone please give me advice on how to get past this moment.

Have you tried a calming breathing technique?
Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 2 seconds, exhale for six seconds. Your nervous System will calm down after a few minutes.

Take it one minute at a time. You feeling will pass.

You can also check into a online AA Meeting, of this is helpful for you.

Tha k you for your reply, yes im working on the breathing….im just feeling so much pressure on my chest and face and telling myself this urge will pass…I am 10 days sober. But each day still feels like the first day all over again.

The first days are the hardest. Do you have medical help?
