So I just wanted to find a outlet and safe space to meet sober individuals. I’m 30 and been on and off of crack for 3 years. I’m currently in a recovery house. I have 2 kids that are with family and my BM is currently sitting in jail on a retainer. Soon I will be able to get a job but honestly I am just really lonely nowadays. Hope I can make some sober friends to lean on or to be leaned on. I love helping others. I look forward to getting to know you guys and gals!

Hello Tyler, my name is Alex, I’m glad you are here! TS is a good place for finding support and resources! From my experience it is a safe space and full of sober people looking to better themselves and help others!
Glad to hear your kids are safe with family, and sorry to hear that their mom is struggling, that’s gotta be pretty difficult to handle at times. But it sounds to me like you are taking steps towards bettering your life, you gotta give yourself the credit you deserve for that!

it has done wonders for my sobriety, helped with all sorts of stressors, and it overall has become something that I look forward to. I’m glad you found us here. This is a great place to find connection with other sober people. I recommend reading around and jumping in wherever you’re comfortable. The daily check in thread is a good place to start and to find most of the really active members all in one place. I hope this place is helpful for you as it has been for me. Welcome Tyler! Congratulations on getting clean and sober! My DOC was crack cocaine as well and this forum has helped tremendously in getting me clean and sober (Im coming up to 4 years in Feb). Hope u continue to use this forum as a support also
