Do people not send postcards anymore?! 
that’s my favorite part of any trip. Take a day to rest in a coffee shop in an unfamiliar town and write out a bunch of postcards.

Almost every year, my little family heads up to Leavenworth Washington. They have several Christmas stores and so we pick out ornaments that commemorate our achievements or special events that year. Here’s a few of my favorites.
Our family as Racoons. We’re not really raccoons, we are normal people.

Well, we finally are putting up the tree and stockings. Later than ever this year! But at least we are doing it. I considered not at one point when I was being a humbug. Bah!
