Never had an apartment long enough To even think about hanging anything holiday related up. Probably going to get some other stuff soon I don’t really know what I’m doing. Spent the last hour or so walking around my apartment trying to find the best spot to hang this 20 foot of lights And if there was an outlet close. Probably going to get some more for the living room but I wanted to start with my bedroom. I like the ambience of the lights. Very grateful to be sober and be making better decisions in my life. Very grateful the holiday seasons are coming and will only give me motivation to continue on the right path.

I know, it can be hard this time of the year.
But I’m going to admit it.
I love all the lights, when the snow falls and the world seems more quiet and calm,
snuggling up to warm fire.

Got out of my own way, tried to put my shitty mood aside and started decorating for Christmas. Got two trees up and a few other things. It’s been really cold and windy, so no outdoor decorations yet.
