Usually I like hosting because then I get to control the meal and I get to keep busy and not entertain. Sadly with my ILs I can’t do that because they live so far away and we travel to them so my job is to be the perfect gracious guest…which is hard when some of them are not so nice, but you have to behave a certain way… ugh. Expectations!!!
Anyways, I have no suggestions, only support. Except…maybe you could use COVID as an excuse to skip it this year!!! There’s got to be something good we can get from the pandemic.
