Just for fun…. Do you prefer Home Depot or Lowes for your home fixing needs? I personally prefer Home Depot BUT there is none around where I live…. So my dad got me a free Lowes lanyard :blush::joy:

Depends. If I know what I’m looking for I go to lowes. If I know I’ll need help I go to Home Depot. They always have the best and most helpful employees

I prefer Lowes

Mainly now cause they carry the craftsman brand and I can use my discount there, Lowes also gave me a credit card and Home Depot declined cause at the time a 730 credit score was too low? Whatever

Back in the day, I used to go to Eagle Hardware and Garden late at night, because for some reason they were open late. It was the thing me and my girlfriend (at the time) used to do on a Friday night.

Several years later, they got bought out by Lowe’s. I ended marrying that girl and we still cruise the isles of Lowe’s, but now its more of a Sunday morning thing.

Long story short, Lowe’s, I prefer Lowe’s.

My Lowe’s has a hot dog cart and home depot doesn’t so case closed.

They don’t exist in the UK to my knowledge but B and M Bargains is my first port of call.

If they don’t have it then probably Screwfix or b and q

I prefer MENARDS. It’s a little closer than Home Depot. HD has the hot dog cart here too, must be their thing. They also sell indoor plants, which Menards doesn’t. But I found Mariano’s having some great deals on indoor plants. Used to go to Lowe’s occasionally, but they closed the one close to me.

Now I would like my paycheck for all this free advertising. :joy:

I’ve never been to a B and M with a hot dog van but they do sell the craziest food items that seem to be random unsuccessful items that need to be sold urgently …like strawberry flavour after eights or liquorice snickers (that’s fictional but it’s not out of the question you would find them there)
