I’m sorry to hear that you had a horrible day I hope tomorrow is better.
Hi Solange! I’m sorry it took me a while to get back! I’ve been back to work since yesterday, and things have been busy! I don’t think I have this issue, I usually speak my mind, and that doesn’t always sit well with people around me. I was bullied at school between 12 and 14 (I’m 46 now), but those 2 years were horrible, changed me forever, and left a deep scar. Ever since I decided nobody is gonna put me down ever again. So, no… whether sober or not, I usually say what I think. But being sober I guess I’m even more straightforward, and that doesn’t always sit well. Not my problem anymore! If people don’t like me the way I am, it’s there problem!
@Jesile Hi! No worries, very nice of you to reply to begin with, doesn’t matter when. I am so sorry to hear you have been bullied at school when you were younger and I understand it left a big scare. I think it’s really good that you made the choice to never ever let anyone put you down. I could learn from you. People often can be so mean. Still don’t understand why. In my mind it’s easier to be kind ( positive energy) instead of being mean to others ( only negative energy) What was it like to be back at work again? Did you have a vacation break? If I may ask of course, don’t mean to be up in your business or anything. Are you having a good day today?
I don’t think I’m mean, I just don’t sugar coat things anymore! And as I’ve said before, people don’t always want to hear the truth! That’s why sometimes I come across as “harsh” or insensitive. Don’t know, people have gotten used to it around me (at work eg), they know I don’t bullshit around! And somehow they like me…
I just had the weekend off! August should be low season where I work at, but somehow it’s not! Which is good! Business is flowing! (I’m in sales & marketing, so that’s how it should be!)
@Jesile Hi! I didn’t mean that you are mean, but the people who bullied you in the past, not you. Sorry, should have wrote it differently. Oh I am happy for you that business is flowing! That’s awesome!
I get your point! How are you doing today? Are things better with husband?
@Jesile Yes, things are better. We talked a bit and just try to navigate sobriety through all the stress. We need to work as a team in this. Not fight with each other but support each other in staying sober. Today was a good day. Thank you for asking
