I’m newly pregnant and newly recovering again as well but Ive lost 6 kids to CPS already and I feel like I’ll never be able to be enough for my baby at this point how am I supposed to be strong enough to do this?

One day at a time. One moment at a time. Keep doing the next right thing over and over. Set realistic goals. Stay connected here. Try in person recovery. If you live in a city, you may be able to find a womans meeting. You will find people who have gotten clean/sober with similar situations.
When I came back to recovery, I didn’t have much hope/faith in myself. I did all the things I shared with you and I feel strong and stable in recovery.
I have built a life I know I couldnt have done as a drunk/addict. It helps me keep moving forward in recovery no matter what obstacles are in front of me. My biggest obstacle has always been me. Those suggestions I shared with you got me here.
You are stronger than you realize, and you do not have to repeat the past.

I lost contact with my 2 boys for over ten years. Recovery changed that for me. Thinking of all the things you may have to go through will feel overwhelming. Its small steps at a time. whatever you can do on a daily basis towards the goal adds up. sometime is doesnt feel like it is. and your inner addict/alcoholic will always be telling you that you cant do it. It will always try to make you come back to it. Dont listen. Its a trap!

AA/NA made a huge difference for me, I’m in my 7th year in recovery. Try out virtual meetings if you’d prefer that.
If you want me to I can post the links to the meeting finders online and in-person just let me know. But don’t give up, we can do this together and you’re not alone and you’re not a failure but you are sick and you need help - we all do. That’s why we’re here
