How did you rebuild your financial well-being while in recovery?

Hi all,

Working through the wreckage of my past and poor choices. Trusting that if I stay sober) clean life will become more manageable. If anyone could share their experiences on credit rebuilding, and financial security. Looking for some hope. Please share your experience of coming out on the other side. As a single mom of three I’m currently unemployed and have to consolidate my debts. Although they aren’t that high I am backed in a corner…trying to do the next right thing. Know it starts with asking for help and educating myself. I know I will get on the other end of this. Again I appreciate any feedback if this my story resonates with you.

Starlight was recently asking about this as well and got lots of good suggestions.

I went thru a similar financial patch decades ago as a single Mom and learning budgeting and debt payoff skills was really helpful then and stuck with me. I found lots of helpful suggestions from Dave Ramsey.

This book may be of interest, or his website…
