Suggestion, just focus on not picking up a drink today. @Bheff Tomorrow wake up and recommit yourself to just one more day not picking up a drink.
I can commit myself to not drinking today but when I think of forever it gets a little sketchy. My mind and the disease of alcoholism likes to play tricks with me if I think too far in advance. I try to stay in the here and now. Congratulations on your 42 days of sobriety. One day at a time my friendā€¦

Iā€™m thankful and grateful and proud of myself I have 58 days clean today. Itā€™s been hard but itā€™s all been worth it clean and sober is the way to live thatā€™s the right way. :sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

I could not have done it by myself it took good sponsors and accountability partners. But most of all working a good program, and for me that includes God

Today is day 17 for me.

Iā€™m starting to feel more comfortable in sobriety and finding myself forming more sober habits that keep the anxiety away. Iā€™m hoping Iā€™m able to form more good habits and be even more comfortable not drinking as I push forward. Keep it up everyone.
