Yep. I did too. Now it’s not so hard managing free time after 525+ days. I’ve found plenty to keep me occupied and away from any temptation and triggers. Outdoors stuff. Mundane house tasks are even enjoyable. It’s the family get togethers that still become difficult.

I changed my diet for one. For me I learned that cell development relies a lot on proteins just in order for helpful and unhelpful things to get in and out of the cells. It was all about rebuilding right? I went with a plant-based protein powder and just got used to throwing that in a blender with some apples blueberries and vanilla almond milk is really good then came the mental rebuilding :muscle:t3:.

356 day from alcohol & 32 day from weed(my 6th relapse)
Not sure if you would be into it but hey grab a mountain bike 🚵‍♂ and hit the trails! I do and it’s a rad time behind those kind of bars :call_me_hand:t2::mountain_biking_woman:t2::call_me_hand:t2:

Thanks Scotti! I will give protein a higher focus. I am using vegan protein from Koro, its very nice. The basic ones I like with frozen pineapple or banana, but i have one with vanilla too, it’s sugar free. Maybe i will use chickpeas for today’s lunch.
Today i was sleeping 11 hours…
That’s really not regular for me.
Had a nice swim workout, but anyway…
6 to 7 hours are best for me.
But not enough atm it seams.

Totally smiled when I saw this that’s sooooo on track!! Lol that’s badass! Swim workout too whuuuuut?? :metal:t3::clap:t3::dizzy: 11 hour construction zone :muscle:t3::clap:t3: nice! Chick peas? Love! It! They are soooo goooood. I’ve been doing this Riced cauliflower, lentils, red quinoa, black barley, roasted pepitas with a green sesame tahini sauce bowl thing that is a literal “taste buds boom” experience! I don’t know why they have to put so much sodium in it though it’s like but why lol. Sweet that sounds great w no sugar not even necessary right? Last week in the pool I sank to the bottom of the pool and looked up and could see the blue sky through the water so I made that a calm “pause scape” lol. Did that like 6 xs. Then when I was there I got to remember wonderful moments in the past of doing that while it was raining lol and seeing the rain land on the water from underwater lol. Just finding moments like that make my heart smile ya know? We’re you able to find a home group?

Hahaha… Thank you BRO for celebrating my strength and activity… Including resting
:joy::sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::muscle:t2:

I also smiled due to that bunch of positive vibes in your post! Chickpea curry was nice and filling, used a lot of Indian spices, ginger, garlic, chili and some basmati on side. But toootal highlight in the afternoon was a nicecream I made of frozen banana and pineapple topped with coconut chips. Uhmygosh :pineapple::banana::coconut::icecream:
I eliminated sugar loooong time ago from my regular schedule. I use Stevia if i need some extra sweetness. And if i really want a little treat or it’s a birthday or something, a little sugar is okay in the meantime. Your meal sounds delicious… I looooove Tahin :sunglasses:

Jap… Did my 2200 meters in the pool yesterday again… Today it was little strength workout and little Yoga session, just 20 minutes each.

I think I know what you mean… I am finding these moments also and especially in water…
In nature… And in positive social contacts and laughing. Atm i am just in a regular group therapy with open topic… It’s a good surrounding. I was told how to join the zoom meeting group… And yap, I am hearing podcasts, following YouTube channels with healing topics.

I dicided to have a new morning routine with a little writing of personal positive affirmations and building confidence and awareness. Writing, whispering and short breathing meditation. :blush:
