How does one go about getting a sponsor? I’m about to start zoom online meetings, I can’t go to any actual places near by. Is there an online sponsor I can get?

Welcome to the forum. It is possible to get sponsorship online. Living in a non English speaking country, I have done so. Meetings online will often put phone numbers or emails of people willing to sponsor. Then get in touch and use Zoom or Whatsapp video call.

Definitely! Yeah when you go to your AA/NA/CA/MA meeting next regardless of it’s online or not, just mention that you’re new and looking for a sponsor. People should reach out to you. Try to pick a sponsor that you feel like you relate to, but yeah definitely you wanna get a sponsor asap
