Hi guys,i have adiction with alcohol and coke, not like every day but once or two times a week and its making my life hell cause of that day or two a week. And its been like this for past 15 years .
And alcohol is always initiator for everything, atm i am 10 days sober but i know soon i will fall for sure. But my goal is to make a biger time period between two times smashing.
Stay sober… out of living in harms way. Keep up the good work
Hello and welcome to the TS family. Congratulations on your 10 days! That is huge!!!
Don’t think about falling, you will set yourself up for failure by already anticipating it. Take it one day at a time.
Do you have a plan how to manage cravings, triggers and temptations? Do you have outside support? Read around, take part in this community and fill your sobriety toolbox with the advice and experience from all the people on here. Check in every day, be accountable. And look forward to a life of freedom.
Welcome to the community @Petco23 ! Congrats on your ten days already! Lots of information on the site here… every one starts with a day one just like you have…
Should you feel like drinking come here first and try to get help to not do it…
Welcome. 10 days is great. Your life will be something you never thought it could be without those things, and leaving them behind os definitely for the best. But maybe you only make it 20 days at first. Okay. Pick yourself up and push for 40. If you fall again push for 60 and so on. Eventually you’ll realize its been 6 months or a year and you’re not going to give in again.
All of our journeys are different. Best of luck.
No plan, problem is that i get such a big euphoria before a night out and i cant control that thingy.
But anyway thanks for the kind words
Thanks buddy
Thanks a lot
Hello!! Welcome! Im new to the community too! Recently had a relapse but im back trying again. This has been so helpful to express the roller coaster ride this journey can be. I hope you stick around and wish you the best on your journey to sobriety!!!
This is a good spot to start and then too continue to remember why you are ending your addiction.
