Withdrawals are likely. Water, sun, a meeting. Have a plan in place if you waver and think of drinking. At the minimum, make a pledge to post here before drinking so we can flood you with better ideas.

Keep going. You have taken the first step towards something so much better. Drink water!

I’m on 3 days and almost half way through to four days ,
It can be rough.

Stay clear from stress if you can, stay hydrated, personally Gatorade helps me when I’m detoxing , and remember things can get hard in the first week, but everyday gets a bit easier and better.

I’ve had many relapses before , and im gonna be honest or wasn’t worth it in the long run.

Stay strong, keep your mind busy and just do your best to stay positive .

thank you for all the advice. I really appreciate it.

I was lightheaded the first two days and woke up super tired as if I was drinking the night before even though I didn’t. Push through, it gets better. I kept my mind busy by going to the gym, cooking healthy meals, cleaning the house, and replacing the alcohol that I would normally drink throughout the day with healthy liquids. Water, tea, LaCroix, protein shakes… You got this! It gets easier as the days go by.
