I got can canned with a DUI but that was fine. I moved on went 1.5 years sober.That was years ago and now I feel like im in the same shit place.. I am doing better but I think I am getting back into the same crap lol. Anyone wanna chime in? Be great I can send cheers where I can.

Are you still sober or starting over? If you did start drinking again you’ll end up right back to where you left off, usually even worse. Welcome back to the forum

Welcome back, Kevin. What did you do to get sober before? Why did you stop doing it? And are you willing to do it again? Because if you are drinking again and unable to stop, then clearly your efforts to control it are failing. The good news is that you know sobriety is possible. I hope you know also that sobriety is wonderful!

Take what you learned in those 1.5 years sober and get right back to it. Spend some time thinking about what took you away from your recovery path. Did you think you were cured? Did you get complacent?
Fucking up is okay as long as you make it back for another chance. Step out of the relapse and get back to good living. Welcome back!
