I used to come home from work and basically sit at the dinner table drinking for most of the night.
Well, today I did something different and I really liked it.
Instead of coming home and settling in, I went for a long walk. I often walk home from work, so I just kept walking till I had gone for about an hour.
It felt great and now I’m enjoying a NA beer. Tomorrow is double digits (10 days) without alcohol and I know I’ll make it.

A long walk sounds so wonderful!! Good for you taking care of yourself and switching up your routine!! And congrats on your almost double digits!!

I find that walking really helps me too - breaks the mundane routine and releases all those good endorphins! Well done you.
