Hello Everyone, my name is Mariah I am new here. I struggled with alcoholism for 8 years. I allowed alcohol to be my therapist and friend not realizing that there are healthier alternatives to deal with my everyday life and the issues it comes with. Proudly I’m 3 days shy of my 6 month sobriety. I don’t have a strong support system so I thought I could gain a few friends here that’s in a positive mindset as me to connect with helping each other through any stages of sober living. Looking forward to meeting new sober friends

Welcome and congratulations on 6 months sobriety. I will have 5 months on the 27th. I read up on here every morning and night and it’s been so helpful. A lot of good people and great information.

Hi, I’m Evelyn. I’m new too. I’ve been struggling with cocaine addiction. Almost my whole adult wife and I’m 52 years old. I need to stop using. I know. I have to I need to surround myself with people who understand about addiction and I know now I’ve tried recovery several several times but I bought these isolated myself like it’s going to go away. If I just stop using, will, it? Doesn’t it always comes back and it comes back with a vengi? Need new people in my life that help me stay clean and sober.
