I made it to Day 7

I made it to day 7. The pain in my bones and the muscle convulsions were so bad last night, I couldn’t take it, all I could do was start punching my pillow and kicking the bed. I don’t know why but it seemed to help. And I finally fell asleep.

I have to to ask is this what detoxing is like, one day you feel like maybe just maybe you’ve hit the peak and it’ll all start to get better. And then it comes back with no relief.
This I must be what true madness feels like and must be. Because I can’t imagine anything worse than dealing with this.

Yeah thats similar to what it was always like for me. 7 days in you should be starting to get a little relief though I would think.

But yeah my muscles and bones were still in complete disarray at that point. Cramps convulsions shakes etc.

I hate saying this but I’m honestly glad I’m not the only one. Because it really makes you feel so alone and isolated and like you’re going insane.

Yep. Its hell.

It does get better it truly does and its so worth it.

But yeah some moments you aren’t even thinking about it…others you cant function even on a basic basic level.

Its tough but it does end.

Keep going! The first week or two, I think I tossed and turned ALL night! 30 days in to it I started getting much better sleep! But YES, that’s what detox was for me. I craved my drug of choice to make it go away!

It does, I PROMISE you it gets better, you just have to wait for the change to happen.
